Happy Easter!

We hope you have a blessed Easter Sunday!

Luke 24.

Then he said, "When I was with you before, I told you that everything written about me in the law of Moses and the prophets and in the Psalms must be fulfilled." Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures. And he said, "Yes, it was written long ago that the Messiah would suffer and die and rise from the dead on the third day. It was also written that this message would be proclaimed in the authority of His name to all the nations, beginning in Jerusalem: 'There is forgiveness of sins for all who repent.' You are witnesses of all these things. - Luke 24: 44-48

Stitching & Getting Ready for Easter

I finally found my black thread, the same day I was going to run to the store to get more.

Pattern from Primitive Blessings.

Pattern from Homeberries.

Look who is getting ready for Easter!

She's even practicing hiding the eggs!

At our homeschool park day we had an Easter egg hunt. Justin helped hide eggs.

Sadly the trunk of our car refused to open! In it was the filled eggs we brought to add to the hunt and Anabelle's Easter basket. Thankfully one of the parents had an empty grocery bag she could use.

She still had fun hunting for eggs without her basket!

Look who was wandering around the park. Momma duck, Poppa duck, and their three ducklings! So cute!

Having Fun

Our little Clover in the clover.

She loves being in the garden bed. She digs in the dirt and takes a dust bath. It's so cute!

We are currently planting vegetables in the bed and turning over the clover for organic compost. I plan to leave a little patch for her to lay in and nibble on.

The kids wanted to make paper mache eggs for Easter. This was their first time playing with paper mache.

They both thought it was quite messy. They were supposed to paint the eggs too, but only Anabelle has started that and I doubt they will be done in time for Easter. Oh well! They had fun with it.

We got some chalk at the dollar store.

It's great for fun and for learning!

The pool is slowly warming up. It is still pretty chilly, but not icy cold anymore.

We tried schooling outside in the front yard, but it was a little too bright. (The lawn is in dire need of mowing! Our "lawn guy" has been gone for two months and took the mower with him.)

And because *that's how we roll*, here's a bunny with a pancake on her head. :-D

The last of March

Schooling out on the patio.

There are lots of these parrots around. They are noisy and sound worse than screeching tires. LOL.

My darling daughter had some trouble with the Parmesan cheese...

Columbines for my birthday! They are the Colorado state flower.

My free bday drink!

Anabelle wanted a picture of her pumpkin before it went out for compost. This pumpkin has lived in her room since we got it in October. She loved it and played with it until it got soft. On March 30th, her sweet pumpkin friend went to pumpkin heaven. ;) It was cut up and put into the garden bed. We saved the seeds to grow more and to feed the squirrels.

I haven't had much access to internet in the last two weeks. I refilled my wifi account but it took them two weeks to let me use it! After my second *not so happy* support ticket to the company, they finally fixed it today. That was the last time they will be getting our money. Hopefully we can get something better soon. I've been catching up on everyone's blog posts, but not leaving notes. Someday I'll have more time and better access to internet! :-p
