New Bikes

For Christmas our children got bikes! Justin is an experienced rider, but Anabelle is not. She hasn't had a bicycle her size since she grew out of her toddler bike with training wheels years ago.

We took the kids to our elementary school parking lot, a nice *flat*, *no cars driving through* place to help Anabelle learn to ride. Justin's bike also needed gear adjustments and to make sure everything was working right. (His was used, came with new tires, but needed a little work done on it before it could be ridden. Thankfully hubby knows how to do that stuff!) And yes, they will be getting helmets!

She faked a fall...

She doesn't know how to ride just yet. This day was very cold and the wind made it worse so we didn't stay out too long.

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.

Looks like fun. My little one is still on training wheels but by spring she will be ready for a bigger bike and to learn to ride as well. What fun!

The kids must be thrilled about their new bikes!

This brought back the memories from the day when I learned to ride without the training wheels. I was sooo terrified. :D

How wonderful for the kids - my kids love their bikes that they got a couple of Christmases ago! It's so much fun to go out cycling as a family in summer!
God bless
