Anabelle decided to grow her own sunflower.
I got a bunch of free samples from Redmond. We already love their sea salt and now I love their Earthpaste and clay!
Journey Church had a BBQ earlier this month. (And recently celebrated their 4th birthday.) They did baptisms at the BBQ.
Anabelle playing in the bouncy house. (Can you see her in the purple shirt?)
She got a kitty painted on her cheek.
Here she is learning to rope.
And having lots of fun trying!
Justin and hubby hanging out.
Anabelle decided Nutmeg needed to wear her doll's tutu. Gary made her do her "dance" to show off the tutu.
So cute. LOL.
Nutmeg is such a good sport. ;) She wore the tutu all day until we took it off to go to bed.
Anabelle's school had their field day. I volunteered and ran one of the games. I wished I had gotten more pics! I just got this one of her doing the sack race.
On my walk home from the school I saw this bull elk relaxing in the shade.
Around the corner from Mr. Elk were three deer (one a youngin) resting in the shade.
Then I saw two more deer a few houses up from our house. This is one of those spots the deer like, so I see them by this house often.
Last Friday Anabelle had her assessment appointment (reading test) with her teacher. On our walk home from school, she picked up lots of leaves, she is leaf obsessed lately. She also wore her ballerina outfit all day.
Yesterday my little girl turned 8 yrs old! She wanted me to bake her a chocolate cake. I baked two layers and put frosting in the middle. This was my first experience making a cake like this. Those cake shows make it look easy. I was just happy it came out okay looking for my first try. I have to say, cake making/decorating is not my forte. ;) I put yellow sprinkles on it. There are 8 candles, but one is hiding in the picture.
The birthday girl!
Hard to believe she is 8 already!
Next weekend is Justin's birthday!
